Ascension Classic

The Ascension Charity Classic is thrilled to support the Advocates Professional Golf Association (APGA) Tour. The third playing of the Ascension Classic presented by Daugherty Business Solutions will be played August 8 & 9, 2024 at Glen Echo Country Club in North St. Louis County. 

The third annual event will consist of a Pro-Am followed by two days of competition. 

General admission for the 36-hole stroke-play competition is free to the public and will provide area golf fans with another opportunity to enjoy thrilling tee-to-green action in St. Louis.

Admission & Parking

Admission to the Ascension Classic presented by Daugherty Business Solutions is free.

Free parking is located at St. Ann Catholic Church, 7530 Natural Bridge Rd., St. Louis, MO 63121. Golf cart shuttles will be available.

About the APGA TOUR

Established in 2010, the APGA Tour is a non-profit organization with the mission to prepare African American and other underrepresented golfers to compete and win at the highest level of professional golf, both on tour and in the golf industry. This is accomplished through professional tournaments, career development and mentoring sessions. 

Helping to remove the financial burden associated with golf is a top priority for the APGA. Support from Ascension and Daugherty will help ensure that players have access to the tools and support they need to better focus on their career path and development in the game.

The Ascension Classic was the 10^th tournament and last regular season event on the 2023 APGA Tour schedule, with the Mastercard APGA Tour Championship being played the following week at TPC Sugarloaf in Duluth, Georgia.

St. Louis native and APGA pro golfer Christian Heavens competed at the event. Heavens serves as an official ambassador for Ascension.
